2020 B1G Season - Starts Oct. 23/24

apparently she forgot Sandusky. she had been torched on twitter for this piece buy fans and colleagues.
And Larry Nassar, and...

ETA: I'd be interested to see some opinion polls on the return of college football among the general public, especially in Big Ten states. I suspect journalists like Brennan can't see beyond their own bubble here regarding just how much people simply want to see their team take the field again.

The darkest day in B1G history is deciding to play football.
I’m not a Trumper “fake news guy” but this is shameful.

"I never would have expected the Big Ten presidents to be so shaky, so fearful, so afraid of their own shadow,"

I thought she was referring to the rush to cancel on August 11th, then I read the article. I was amused that she used the SEC as a pejorative. That's about it.

It's Christine Brennan. She's about the most self-important sports pundit around; no surprise she came up with this gem.

It's just typical rabble rousing from sports media. It's why Skip Bayless is rich. Find something people love, and shit on it. Then watch the clicks while people can't help themselves.

She's a tsun fan.

Is there anything else that needs to be said here?

I seem to recall that we were discussing the merits of the B word and the C word in an open and inclusive way the other day. I see that this woman's last name begins with one of those letters and her first name begins with the other, so I guess we could go either way with her, right?

I can live with that.

Go ahead and finish it, the touchy-feely doc at Michigan, Dr. Strauss and Coach Jim Jordan at Ohio State. Of course, the presidents are jittery. A pervert can ruin your day... or weekend.

Oh man, I hope so. But put the #2 - #7 games in Detroit or somewhere. Not in Indy.

I like the idea of this conversation between Michigan fans:
"Do you think we'll get to Indianapolis this year?"
"No, we'll have to play in Detroit."

I like this for no other reason that when I show up in Indy I don't want to deal with seeing anyone in a piss a bruise jersey. Then again, forcing a tsun to bitch-watch another tOSU gorilla raping a West team is kinda ok too. If they want to pay for that kind of abuse, I mean... who am I to judge their fetish.
