I think it's cute.

Agreed that claiming their half of a division title is cute.

But claiming "unclaimed" national championships is positively alabamian adorable. Let's examine them shall we?

  • 1925: Actual Champion - Alabama
  • 1926: Actual Champion - Stanford, Alabama
  • 1964: Actual Champion - Arkansas, Notre Dame, Alabama
  • 1973: Actual Champion - Notre Dame, Alabama
  • 1985: Actual Champion - Oklahoma
TSUN claiming unclaimed national championships is adorable. The fact that the king of claiming championships (Alabama) was one of the actually named champions (as recognized by the ncaa) for 4 of those 5 years is hilarious.

Even two of scUM's "claimed" national titles are bogus:
  • 1932: Actual Champion - Southern Cal
  • 1947: Actual Champion - Notre Dame

Just a feel good laugh on the longest day of the year

ESPN: Michigan's most-hyped recruit since 2007

With regularity, the Wolverines bring in a top ten class every year, and that’s included the No. 1 overall recruit in the country in 2016 defensive end Rashan Gary.

However, when ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren looked back at who was the ‘most-hyped’ recruit that the maize and blue brought in, it wasn’t Gary or five-stars Donovan Peoples-Jones or Daxton Hill. No, it was an exciting player who came in with a new coaching staff, all the way back in 2008.

15. Michigan Wolverines: RB Sam McGuffie
Class of 2008
ESPN ranking: No. 30 running back

Frankly, I didnt much give a fuck if he was alright, but, in fairness, Nessler had to be diplomatic while calling the game, I guess

Nessler was genuinely disturbed by the violence he just witnessed.

It's been said on here many times but it was like he just saw a baby get punched in the face. He was mortified.

EDIT

which, of course, makes it ten times funnier
