Just a question, but a lot of praise of being heaped on Paul Rhodes, but I thought analysts only really watched film, but had little input on playcalling or schemes. IMO, shouldn't Barnes be getting more praise for how well the defense has been since the Tulsa game, or am I missing something?

Kinda humorous but can’t blame him….I think long term this is a better move to help him get a DC job immediately. Last years defense did zero to help him.

Now with a revamped defense, who would assume his contribution made any difference? And Knowles is bringing a different system…..it just makes sense. Good luck to Paul….

This, 1000%. When I pack it in, if I had the chance to coach HS LAX and get paid a couple grand a year in retirement to do so, I’d jump at the chance.
