It hasn't even been a week, and I have to update this already:

_1. DE Aaron Lewis (transfer) (07/20/2020) (Rutgers)
_2. LB Jordan Anthony (transfer) (08/15/2020)
_3. WR Kyle McNamara (transfer) (09/21/2020) (Western Kentucky)
_4. LB Osman Savage (transfer) (10/01/2020)
_5. LB Charles Thomas (transfer) (10/21/2020)
_6. OL Zach Carpenter (transfer) (12/10/2020) (Indiana)
_7. _P Will Hart (transfer) (12/16/2020)
_8. LB Branden Jennings (decommit) (12/16/2020) (Maryland)
_9. DL Quintin Somerville (decommit) (12/16/2020) (UCLA)
10. OL Jalen Mayfield (early entry) (12/18/2020) (NFL)
11. RB Christian Turner (transfer) (12/19/2020) (Wake Forest)
12. DC Don Brown (fired) (12/22/2020) (Arizona)
13. LB Cameron McGrone (early entry) (12/29/2020) (NFL)
14. LB Adam Fakih (transfer) (01/05/2021)
15. AC Ed Warriner (fired) (01/11/2021)
16. AC Mike Zordich (fired) (01/13/2021)
17. RB Zach Charbonnet (transfer) (01/18/2021) (UCLA)
18. DL Luiji Vilain (transfer) (01/19/2021) (Wake Forest)
19. QB Dylan McCaffrey (transfer) (01/21/2021) (Northern Colorado)
20. LB Tyler Martin (decommit) (01/28/2021)
21. DT Alex VanSumeren (decommit) (02/11/2021)
22. LB Ben VanSumeren (transfer) (02/12/2021)
23. LB Adam Shibley (transfer) (02/16/2021)
24. QB Joe Milton (transfer) (02/18/2021)
25. AC Brian Jean-Mary (quit) (0219/2021) (Tennessee)

Last season, scUM was 66th in scoring offense and 78th in total offense. From that juggernaut, they lose their top QB (Milton), top RB (Charbonnet), two top OL (Mayfield and Carpenter), their top TE (Nick Eubanks), plus RB Chris Evans, RB Christian Turner, and QB Dylan McCaffrey.

scUM's RB room for 2021: true freshman Donovan Edwards plus Hassan Haskins (62.5 ypg, 6.1 ypc in 2020) and Blake Corum (12.8 ypg, 3.0 ypc in 2020).

scUM's QB room for 2021: true freshman JJ McCarthy plus Cade McNamara (106.3 ypg, .606 completion pct in 2020) and Dan Villari (did not play in 2020).

That's it: 3 scholarship RBs and 3 scholarship QBs.

Not to mention their best WR would probably be the 6th or 7th option here.

So their QB room is now.

McNamara, who outside of that game against Rutgers looked very mediocre at best.

Dan Villari . The #1225 overall player in the 2020 class

and True Freshmen JJ McCarthy.

Seems like a perfect brew for McCarthy to get thrown into a dumpster fire early and ruined. Which from his track record with QBs at scUM, Harbaugh is liable to do to him regardless.

They now have as many QBs on the roster as DTs.

So they've got that going for them.

Which is nice.

That doesn't sound right. DT is a position that usually has 2 on the field at the same time....and there's rotation throughout a game. Did you check the math on this? If so, this might not be ideal for them.

They’re switching to a 3-4 so I’m sure things will work themselves out regarding DT numbers now that they need one less at a time.

https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/joe-milton-transfers

The conversation immediately devolves into academics and graduating early (which Milton did).

They’re so close to connecting the dots that student athletes coast by at Michigan just like every other major athletic program, but they can’t quite break down that mental wall and eliminate one of their excuses for sucking.

How many Saviors have they had since Chad Henne that have failed miserably?

From Justin "Better Than Pryor" Feagin up until Joe "Cam Newton 2.0" Milton

The number has to be staggering.
Justin Feagin (better than Pryor!) whoops, drug dealer
Steven Threet (Mobile for a big guy AND can throw!) sucked
Tate Forcier (ideally suited for Rodriguez's "spread n shred"!) September '09 Heisman then...well...school wasn't a priority and liked to turn the ball over a lot
Denard Robinson (OMG he doesn't tie his shoes and THAT HAIR!) "tap out"
Devin Gardner (Burnt tOSU offer letter!) QB-WR-QB...got killed behind a terrible OL.
Shane Morris (FIVE STARS! BRACELETS! MOPEDS!) turns out bad HS stats are a precursor to being a shitty college QB
John O'Korn (Lit up the Conference USA!) "NO JOHNNY NO NO NO!!!"
Wilson Speight (Harbrau will coach him up!) big, tall pile of mediocrity
Brandon Peters (Andrew Luck 2.0!) more Craig Whelihan than Andrew Luck
Shea Patterson (Mississippi Jesus!) was exceptionally...adequate...maybe golfed too much?
Dylan McCaffrey (can run AND throw!) concussed and said "fuck this"
Joe Milton (Cam Newton 2.0! Better than Fields!!!) sucked and said "fuck this"
Cade MacNamara (DID YOU SEE WHAT HE DID TO RUTGERS!!!) Good against Rutgers, not so much otherwise thus far
JJ McCarthy (OMG FIVE STARS THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT!) TBD, but, well...

I probably missed some, so anybody feel free to supplement...
