2023 B1G Football - no offense intended

In the next 3 weeks, the Buckeyes face the top 3 running backs in the B1G in descending order

Allen of Wisconsin
100.57 ypg

Monangai of Rutger
93.00 ypg

Carter of MSU
80.71 ypg

That is seriously the output of the top 3 RBs in the B1G

Are we adding the top teams in the PAC or are we joining the PAC?

The top receiver in the league has more yards per game for cryin out loud

Where Rushing Offense is concerned, the B1G East is the bigger problem

The highest ranked Rushing Offense in the East (by Yards per Carry) is the Cheaters Up North Towards Saskatchewan (CUNTS), ranked 40th.

It is literally the only major category in which the B1G East doesn't have the leading team in the conference. It is also the only major category where the B1G doesn't have a team in the top 13 or better.

The most bizarre thing about the conference this year, to me, is that EVERY B1G team ranks higher on defense than on offense in almost every major statistical category.

The only exceptions in the entire conference, in any major category are:

Wisconsin ranks 34 spots lower in rushing defense than they do in rushing offense. This is by far the biggest anomaly in the league.
Illinois ranks 3 spots lower in rushing defense than they do in rushing offense.
The Cheaters Up North Towards Saskatchewan (CUNTS) are 3rd in pass efficiency offense and defense both.

In every other major category, for every single team in the conference, the defensive rank is higher than the offensive rank. Utterly bizarre.

It is almost impossible to exaggerate how bad the west is this year though.

Even in Rushing Offense, where they have the 2 highest ranked teams in the league, the overall average for the West is lower than the average for the East. The average rankings for all of the major categories are below.

Yes, the West passing offenses really are that bad

This also bears out how much better the divisions and the conference are on defense than on offense.

My take is that this has to do with the dearth of good quarterbacks this year. It's more complicated than that of course, but I think that's a big part of it.

Rushing Offense is the only category in which the B1G East average (69.67) is below the national average (133 teams, so 67 is the Mendoza line)

The West is lower than the lowest B1G East Ranking in 4 categories (all of the offensive categories).

So TCUN is the new nomenclature? Either way, fuck ‘em.
