The NIT this season should be stronger than usual, with an unusually high number of bubble teams that got NCAA bids stolen by mediocre conference champs. Ole Miss preemptively declined a bid to the NIT, but I'm not sure they would've been offered one.

OSU is a 2 seed, vs Cornell first.

Yeah, this is tournament is about building for next year. With the changes and young core, this could be a good chance for the players and coach to grow. Hopefully OSU makes it all the way to the finals.

Yeah. Clearly some of these coaches were sore losers about missing the dance. But Cuse, IU, Memphis and Washington missing the NCAAT comes as no surprise. The worst is Pitt & Oklahoma - they both have 4 underclassmen amongst their starting 5, and chose not to give those kids a chance to do more. Rick Pitino probably just wanted to get a head start on the portal.

Butler, Indiana St., UC, Xavier, Ohio State, Minnesota, Loyola Chicago, Bradley, Kansas St, Iowa.

Really not a lot of teams West of the Mississippi.

i am a little confused.. where do you get tickets for tomorrows game? the ncaa website is only listing tickets for the final 4. the ohio state website doesnt seem to list them at all.. and stub hub is acting like its nearly sold out. surely we dont have a sold out venue that fast for the NIT>
