Not only is there a hoop's game, but a much-anticipated halftime speech is possible. It will be 361 days from this hoops game until the next tOSU-TSUN football game, in case anybody is wondering. :wink2:
 
to be honest, i'll be happy if tuesday night is just about the basketball team. this is the biggest non-conference game in years. going back a decade, few programs have been more successful. matta and company deserve to be the center of attention, which i'm doubtful will be the case if meyer is announced that day, monday, or sunday.

of course, i'll also be very happy if meyer is announced as coach beforehand. there is no downside. there is no doubt about that. i guess if it were up to me, meyer would be announced on wednesday.

edit: a big part of me wants to see the halftime crowd reaction to the announcement. it would be pandemonium.

The one big thing I'm concerned about is the perimeter, three-point defense and Duke's ability to hit the three.

Also, don't know if OSU has the ability to match three-for-three this season, so can't get too far behind in games.

Really need to stay active on defense.

Yes, this is my concern too...Duke is very big inside...we are going to need to have big games from Thomas and Ravenel on defense and hope Sully doesn't get in foul trouble.

I've watched several Duke games. They have not impressed me with rebounding, particularly offensive.

Now watcht the bastards go off on the boards on Tuesday.

If we finally put our A game together for 2 halves then we win by 10. If it is close at half we win. Down by more than 7 at half and it will be close.

We have been a tremendous second half team this year. I expect to win on Tues.
