#4 Ohio State 63, Michigan State 54 (Final)

I see this as a huge game for the program. It's a down year (if you can call it even that) for Michigan State. It's a big up year for Ohio State. They took us to the wire on our court. We need to really assert ourselves at Breslin and steal a win on their court.

Obviously, we want this game for Big Ten title purposes.

What version of MSU will show up? They are just as streaky as OSU, with far less talent to fall back on. I believe there was a 40% FG differential between the halfs against Illinois.

It is scary to me, If we don't find someone to guard Neitzel this could be a long night. We have the talent to win will we play well enough.....?
Matta stated after the game that he has NEVER seen any player play like that in his life. I wouldn't count on anywhere near that kind of game from Nietzel.

As far as guarding him, Conley's foul trouble left Lewis on him, which is a very favorable matchup for any scorer, let alone a red hot one.

Who was that guard that Ind had for seemingly 6 or 7 years , that scored about 30 per game?

Tom Coverdale?
