BOOOOOOM!
Ohio State's 2017 class is looking to have all the makings of Urban Meyer's five outstanding ones before it.
Already replete with high-upside phenomenal talent, the Buckeye recruiting think tank added another 2017 commitment in the form of four-star defensive lineman, Haskell Garrett.
Garrett hails from Las Vegas, NV, where he played for football factory Bishop Gorman. At 6'2, 280 pounds, the nearly 18-year-old checks in as the 78th best player in the country. He's graded out in the 247Sports Composite rankings as the fourth best defensive tackle and the third best player from the state of Nevada.
OSU's 2016 recruiting class drew some flack for not bringing in as many interior defensive linemen as some recruitniks would've liked. Seems like Meyer and co. are off to a great start more than making up for that.
Garrett announced the commitment on Twitter Tuesday morning in Nevada:
Blessed and Happy to announce that I've verbally committed to Ohio State University️ #Buckeyes @Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/M24GYDLAqo

OSU director of player personnel Mark Pantoni not long after followed up with the requisite 'boom' tweet:
To see what Garrett will bring to Larry Johnson, Greg Schiano, Luke Fickell and the Ohio State defense, check out his highlights below, courtesy of our friends at Hudl:
