5 Bold Predictions for 2010

Since RIbuck has been a no show lately, I'll get this annual ritual started.

5). Every team in the SEC will have suffered two losses or more by the end of the SECCG.

4). Two undefeated teams will play for the National Title.

3). A QB no shorter than 6-5 and no slower than a 4.5 forty will win the Heisman.

2). A coach who is renowned for a certain type of upper body attire will win the Best Coach award.

And finally, 1). contained in the victory speech at the national title game will be a reference to the TBDBITL, although those letters could stand for anything.

I hope your predictions are more imaginative than mine.

1. Florida doesn't make it to the SEC CG.

2. Nebraska and Oklahoma battle it out in the last Big XII CCG.

3. tOSU plays the Big XII winner in the BCS Title game.

4. TCU is the lone non-AQ school in the BCS bowls.

5. Oregon State goes to the Rose Bowl, to play TCU, since the Rose Bowl has to take a non-AQ school if they lose a #1 or #2 school from the Big Ten or the Pac Ten.

1.) The SEC will not have a representative in the BCS Championship for the first time since the 2005 season.

2.) Ohio State will finish the regular season undefeated with several close calls causing many fans/pundits to complain when they reach the BCS Championship game for the third time in five years...and they will win this time...on the backs of a nasty front seven.

3.) scUM will start the year 6-0 and have fans in a lather after finally defeating Sparty only to go in the tank and lose five of their last six as the Big Ten schedule wears them down. An impressive lower tier bowl victory will finish them at 8-5 and save DickRod for another year.

4.) Tater Tot will announce his transfer at some point in October as freshman Devin Gardner begins seeing snaps over him.

5.) Terrelle Pryor will have a breakout year rushing for 800 yards and 10 Tds, passing for 2500 yards and 25 Td against just 10 Ints. He will finish second in the Heisman to VT's Ryan Williams.

These were not very bold.
2. Boise State will beat Va Tech and will reach the championship game
After seeing VaTech get whipped the last two years vs Bama, I can't vote against this one in confidence.
1. We will beat the blue turf smurfs for the title.
Which will make the hatred and stereotyping even worse

Stealin my thunder, eh?:wink2:

1. Only one BCS conference team will have less than two losses (Ohio State
2. A Non-BCS team will play in the BCS National Championship Game (TCU)
3. Virginia Tech will be ranked #2 heading into the ACC championship game with one loss. But will lose to an underdog Florida State team with a trip to Glendale on the line
4. The Big 12 and SEC Champions will both have two losses and will gripe over being passed over for an undefeated non-BCS team
5. Although Terrelle Pryor will not have a MONSTER year, his leading Ohio State to the BCS National Championship in an efficient, yet play-making fashion (think Troy Smith 2006) will earn him the Heisman

5. Boise State will beat Virginia Tech by at least 10 points.
4. Notre Dame will win 9 games under Brian Kelly.

2. Temple will beat Penn State.
1. Florida State beats Florida and finishes ahead of Florida in the final rankings.

An extra emphasis on the word bold in bold predictions

1. Ole Miss will shock the SEC west and the NCAA with an upset over previously undefeated Bama.

2. Buckeyes will secure their 6th straight Big Ten title with a blowout victory over previously undefeated and #3 ranked Iowa.

3. Tate Forcier's father will publicly campaign for RR's firing.

4. However the fear of Mike Leach's legal $ettlement will influence the TSUN board of trustees to procrastinate RR's release.

5. La Michael James' 2000+ yard season will impress enough Heisman voters to narrowly decide the stiffarm trophy.

#2 and you're still here? Damn, I got a year of detention just for droppin' an F bomb in recruiting. As for #1, saddens me, but with this schedule and all the seekie rules they have with the committee, if they don't make a BCS this year Brain Kelly may be gone before Dick Wad.
