i think we miss turner's hunger for hitting the boards more than anything else from his game. not only did he have a desire to rebound, but he was also outstanding at anticipating the location of a carom.

Sully went after his last 2 boards a lot better. When he gets in his rebounding mode he's tough to stop.

i will be surprised if sully is blocked fewer than 60 times this season. he was frequently blocked in aau ball, but his team fed him the ball so much more. through the course of a game, sully learns how to exploit the type of defensive pressure that he faces. in college, unfortunately, some teams can throw waves of defenders at a post player, which is what florida can do. this ability will confuse sully.y0yoyoin;1812817; said:

Need to play some defense and the rest will take care of itself. I'd like to see someone step in and get this team fired up. But our upperclassmen just aren't firery guys.

sully just beat his chest after drawing the foul. that may be a small gesture, but it bodes well for his desire in the second half.

lauderdale now has 3 fouls. the good news is that sully is in no foul trouble. the bad news is that sully is not a marathon man.
