#5 Purdue 61, #12 N. Iowa 56 (Final)

What a nice pleasant reward for winning the B10 tourney and playing 3 games in three days, a trip out west for a Thursday game.

Reminiscent of the Bucks trip to Albuquerque a few years back. Hopefully they won't have jet lag and can help hold up the B10 banner.

we've got an upset in the making here, folks. Will be interesting to see if Purdue can hang on and shock the world.

If the score holds up, the Big 10 will prove Digger Phelps and Hubert Davis wrong in their first game out of 7(for those unfamiliar with what I referring too, Digger and Hubert both think the Big 10 will lose every first round game potentially). Let's hope Purdue can hang on, and give us the first upset of the tournament.

*end sarcasm. Screw you ESPN.

Do the refs always give Purdue favorable calls?
You need to have a boilermaker and settle down. You want a team from the MVC to beat the winners of the Big 10 tournament. That would not look pretty on the Big 10's r?sum?.

I would like to thank Purdue for their excellent free-throw shooting at the end of the game:! I will be billing them for some vcash.

The NCAA ought to think about the dotted line around the basket that the NBA has. That would take a lot of the judgment away from the officials who have enough problems as it is.
