(5) THE Ohio State vs. (12) Purdue, Thurs 3/13 @ 2:30p ET, BTN

You still have Fingernails?

It helps that I haven't watched them since the Michigan loss -- I'm punishing myself for breaking the remote control by violently accidentally spiking dropping it during that game.

Although, I'm not so sure it's really a punishment. :slappy:

The good thing about leaving work at 4:10? I got to listen to the last 4 minutes of the game.

The bad thing about leaving work at 4:10? I got to listen to the last 4 minutes of the game. I could hear it in Ronnie Stoke's voice, he's just as frustrated as we are.

In the end, I'm obviously happy for a Buckeye win but they need to play much better to get past Nebraska. (This is basketball, right? Can't believe I just typed that.)

Hey we don't win pretty but you can say we've been in every game and have got into the last 5 minutes with a chance to win every game we've played so far. I don't really expect that to change which is why I have some hope in this team. Ross is playing really well. Tommorow's gonna be fun.

Which is really pretty remarkable considering this isn't, IMO, a particularly talented team, or a well constructed team. It's frustrating watching some of the same issues pop up every damn game, but it is what it is at this point. Just get into the tournament and hope somebody gets hot. I realistically can't seem them getting past the round of 32 (or whatever the hell it's called now), so anything above and beyond that is a bonus, IMO.

We have some help coming next year. Hopefully Q comes back. Teaming him with Russell, Tate, a healthy Kam Williams, and KB-D should help some of the offensive issue. We'll miss Craft's D and leadership, so hopefully somebody can fill those roles.

LOL Scott will assume his rightful places as point guard..Looking back when he was recruited and the talk of him sending Craft to the bench seem laughableLOL

Was trying to listen to this game at work and had a shadow student show up at 3:00. Fortunately she was cute and a Buckeye fan making missing the play by play a little easier. Finished with her at 3:30 and had to go to an hour long meeting. Needless to say I had my phone on to watch the score changes. It is HARD to get work done when BASKETBALL GAMES ARE PLAYING DURING WORK HOURS. Meeting ended at about the 2 sec stop and was able to hear the ending. Too close for comfort. We better make a few field goals in the next one or Sam Thompson and company will be taking two of the four days of clean clothes home with him. :)

Aren't those days what that sick leave is for?

Just kidding, however, it is great to be retired and not have to worry if I'll be at work when an Ohio State game is on.

Had a great but frustrating time watching the game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse with my daughter and playing hooky from work. It seemed like every time the Bucks had a chance to pull away, they screwed it up. The last 1:30 was extremely painful to watch. I was definitely confused by some of the lineups that Matta played today. There were times where I wasn't sure who he expected to be the scoring options. image.jpg

Nice!

Wish I could have gotten down there. If they play into the weekend count me in!

Jake, look at their shot chart. I very much hope that the team that blew out Nebby shows up tomorrow. I'd love to see these guys have some fun for a change.

Nebraska is no longer the team we blew out 2 months ago. I would be greatly surprised to see the Bucks roll tomorrow no matter how well our boys play. If scoring is as difficult as it was today our B1G tourney will likely end earlier than usual. I'm hoping the Huskers come out a little cold after sitting and watching today.
