Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

For those asking for Bauserman, I think that would do more harm than good moving forward. Pryor is already struggling enough with confidence issues, benching him might make it even worse.

Agree. Besides, Bauserman would get sacked 10 times anyway. Not much to say about this game other than it's shocking that a Tressel team has dropped the ball so bad so far...

Get a TD here though and youre still in it.

Funny I was hoping for Oklahoma and Notre Dame wins today. Does it even matter? I would like to see Bauserman in the game. I think Pryor is very confused right now with everything. Looks like he had some good running opportunities on the two previous drives.

We need a TO in the worst way right now. When are they going to realize that we need to run the damn ball?

When the line can step up. In the third quarter the line has forced the offense to twice be at 2 & 15 (false starts) and 2 & 19 after a sack.

Im not pointing fingers or blaming, but EVERYONE needs to step up. I dont care if Pryor has to run 200 yards to squeak out a win - just get it done.

This feels like Iowa '04.

I liked the Minnesota 2000 comparison more.

The problem is that it is now too late to run the football.

I agree with you. Saine should be getting 20 carries a game.

I don't think it is. A 5 minute drive to score is still better than a 3-and-out. Passing probably won't get it done.

We can move the ball on the ground.

We can do this, guys. Believe.

To me, unless you're really thinking about making Bauserman the guy for the rest of the season, you have to let Pryor work through this. He's a young QB going through probably the biggest struggle of his football career. I don't know if he can win us this game, but if he's going to do anything for us this season and beyond, you have to stick with him.

I knew the offense was going to lose us some games this year but good lord. We obviously have the athletes to beat Purdue. This is a coaching/offensive coordinator issue. I'm not retarded and calling for Tressels resignation but something needs to change in our offensive game plan. Our Defensive could only hold up so long with an offense playing so poorly.
