While I don't necessarily disagree, I thought we brought in TP so that he might occasionally bail out the rest of the team, alas the opposite is frequently needed.

First, I love my Buckeyes.

Literally a hundred other programs wish they could be us.

Our D has carried us all year, and they had a below average day. The O..... well you've all seen my posts about the chronic failures of the Bollman era (except '06)

But this is what happens when you cheer for a bunch of 19 year olds.

btw, 3 major bad calls against us today... but we should've over come them.

So many mistakes today. Hard to write anything possitive. Coleman had a good game thats about it. Offensive line blew, whats new, they have one or two good games a year thats it. d- line was kinda disapointing too. dont understand this team...

The Miller/Cordle line did pretty well. The Adams/Shugarts line has struggled. Browning had better games with the former as well.

But the problems have been exposed by Buckeye Nation and they dont fix the problems, so at this point why get mad.

Sad but a true point you raise. I'm proud of the way they fought back but a LOT of work needs to be done to get this offense to where they need to be. I'm still surprised JT got away from the run in ther third quarter after the Bucks were down 16-7.

I believe that they changed the rule such that the only facemask penalty is the 15 yarder, but also that it's only a penalty if there is a grab and twist or the guy is tackled by it.

My understanding was that what would have been a 5-yarder was now not a penalty, that being the incidental short grab of the mask.

In hindsight, I don't really have a problem with that call. I was grasping at straws a bit there. :tongue2:

Congrats to Purdue on a great win!!! We have to just get better and except what we are. A marginal football team with a ton of talent that cant put it all together. Is the offense somewhat etrocious, yes but the changes we want will not becoming anytime soon. So again hats off to Purdue and go Bucks!!!!!!!

We still have the Rose Bowl to play for guys but this was a VERY embarrassing lost. The teams chemistry was awful all game, I truly blame the O-Line not just Pryor. Look forward to next year and beyond folks hope we don't turn into USC, Win Big Games Choke in little ones .....

I agree with your sarcasm. We should not sit here and pretend everything is ok when folks are embarrassing themselves by quitting on this team (including 5 min into the 3rd quarter) and calling for firings.

There was a time when this board could self moderate itself, as some are trying to do (Bucky, King, sepia, etc) but they're fighting an uphill battle.
