#9 The Ohio State University vs. Morgan State, Friday, Nov 29 @ 9 PM, BTN

Went to the game, attendance wasn't great but far from as bad as I expected given the opponent and timing. Had to leave early in the second half.

Not a lot to take away other than the Wesson brothers played really well and everyone else was kind of spotty--I think it was hard for them to get into much of a rhythm or flow with all the Morgan St fouls and Holtmann was really liberal with the line-up changes, felt like he was treating the game almost like a scrimmage.

Good to see us handle some pressure D fairly well, good to see us make a bunch of FTs.

Morgan St barely attempted a 3 from what I can remember. Drove the basketball a lot and didn't have a ton of success unless they were driving on Ahrens.

Felt kind of bad for Gaffney because the effort was there tonight but the game is just too fast for him right now. He had a lot of "close but no cigar" moments. I thought he did okay on D, or at least his length seemed to intimidate whoever he ball pressured.

Pretty great stuff from Andre, hope he can keep it up to some degree.

just realized that I am easy to spot in the game highlights. I'm the gray coat guy sitting behind the Buckeye basket in the first half who keeps jumping up every time they get a bucket, lol.
I was behind the Buckeye basket in the first half as well, over by the player entrance. My kid was the one on the jumbo tron stuffing his face with cotton candy.

The only thing I would add to game performance is that Kaleb can get position on anyone and has great hands and nice footwork, but still has issues finishing over people and through double teams and Young had a little trouble with it in this game as well. Morgan was pretty physical in the post, but nothing that you won't see in your average B1G game.

Overall though, we are a difficult team to prepare for because everyone seems to have confidence on the offensive end.
