A Fallen Friend......

Got a call last night from my brother letting me know a guy we knew through church, and that had been on our softball team the last two years, had just been found dead in his apartment. He had taken his own life.


It makes me sad to think a guy who seemed so normal and happy on the softball diamond was struggling so much with inner demons. I implore all those out there to seek help if you need it. Don't try and do it on your own. You are NEVER alone, all you have to do is reach out, and someone will be there.


Suicide is not the answer. I hate that this happened, and my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
