A little networking help please?

On a related note:

I've got my high-speed DSL plugged into my desktop through a wireless router. My laptop is configured to be a wireless node on the network. How can I share resources (hard drives) between the two? Both are Windows XP professional. I cannot map drives between them using IP nor computer name.

Are you wanting to set up a share to transfer files between the two computers? Assuming both computers are in the same Workgroup, I believe you should be able to right-click on your hard drive you want to share, go to Sharing and Security, then follow the wizard. If you don't have that option you probably have to add "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" to your network configuration. Here is a recource for that:
