The Buckeye Planet Recruiting Team had a chance to speak with defending Ohio Division I State Champion Cincinnati Colerain's Outside Linebacker Tyler Moeller this afternoon. Tyler is receiving plenty of attention from various schools and is currently holding offers from Cincinnati, Iowa, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Kent, Miami(OH), and Ohio University. The well spoken young man was in good spirits today even though he did suffer a slightly pulled hamstring in Ann Arbor while Colerain was there for team camp. In an effort to get to know Tyler Moeller on a deeper level than just who his favorite schools are this week, we offered Tyler the following ten questions:

1) What do you think of when you hear Ohio State Football?

TM: Wow. Definitely big time football, big time crowds, big time players and they are usually ranked high.

2) After a long, illustrious Pro Bowl career, what do you see yourself doing?

TM: I never really thought that much about it. I guess with a wife, kids, and a nice house. Just successful.

3) What are you planning to focus on in college to get you to that goal?

TM: I'm thinking Business right now, but I have not put a lot of thought into that yet.

4) If you could be a teammate of any player from any time, who would it be and why?

TM: Tough Question. I'll say Lawrence Taylor so I could learn the position from the best.

5) Who has made the biggest impact in your life?

TM: My dad. He has been through all of this already so he knows what to expect and he can guide me. He played Running Back and Safety at Kent State.

6) Where is the best place to eat in Cincinnati?

TM: Skyline Chili. I love the Cheese Coneys and a Three-Way.

7) Describe the perfect Senior Year for Tyler Moeller.

TM: 3.0 or higher GPA, injury-free, 100 tackles, 15 sacks, and another State Championship ring.

8) Any nicknames?

TM: The guys call me Bobby Boucher (from The Waterboy) because I play like him.

9) With the Kirk Herbstreit Classic coming, how does it feel to represent your home state?

TM: It feels really good. I've watched some film on them (Robert E. Lee in Texas) and I think we have a great chance to win that game. They are a good team, but we are a good team too. I'm very excited to play on ESPN.

10) Back in the day, Kobe took Brandy to prom. Who is your ideal Prom Date?

TM: (Laughing) I don't want to go to Prom. I don't like dances.

Perfect Linebacker Answer.

Tyler may not like to dance, but the young man has a bright future ahead of him. Thanks for your time Tyler and best of luck from BP.
