On my laptop, about 4-5 times this week the page has redirected to a 'you have an outdated version of flash' page (http://simplecomputerupgrade.info/o...18df&rand=54887f364a664&source=mbs-f40&auto=y)

It also downloads Installation.exe without me clicking on anything. I haven't had a chance to track down the source of it, and doing so will be a little tricky given that I tend to open 3-10 tabs at a time.
This happens to me all the time in the Football sctions of the forums. Mainly the J.T. Barret forum post. If you click the adobe update...good luck because you are going to need it. I usually dont fall for those things but that one day I did and it took an hour to get everything back to normal in Chrome. It completely took over google.com for me. Word to the wise: if you have ads for things on google.com, you have been compromised with malware. I cant remember exactly how I got rid of that behavior but it was difficult. uninstalling and re-installing didn't work. Also if you fall for it you should look through your programs installed and filter by date and see all the bad programs it installed. It was a big problem. I almost considered wiping my OS and starting fresh. I really hate invasive malware.

If you cant get the google.com re-direct fixed try googling the web address that it directs you to and find solutions that way.

Edit: Now I remember. I did a system restore to a last know date where my computer was working properly then used the free malwarebytes program to make sure it was all gone. That problem was a whopper!

I too constantly get hit with the "update flash player" or "outdated flash player" redirect on Chrome when I visit this site. Sometimes it automatically downloads an .exe file. Have no idea how to stop it from coming up. I also got the following pop up just now:

Using chrome, I have been getting a loading page error due to the following per Google:
The server at cdn3.doubleverify.comcan't be found, because the DNS lookup failed.

Also, even after clearing cache and history, the Game of War app keeps popping up the app store on my iPhone about every third page I go into.

Got this Greenies ad a couple times in the last few days, in the lower right ad I-frame on the forum main page. It auto-plays with audio and is sized so you can't scroll to the controls to stop/pause/mute it. It's annoying as shit.

I've had the adobe issue as well - it seems to be something about when BP and FB are open at the same time, but maybe that's because I mostly get it on my work computer where I have both sites open, whereas at home I don't generally have FB open. Also getting autoplay ads on dentistick or some dog treat bullshit... and now.. Sensation? Some kind of cat bullshit?

Will/Clarity continues to monitor this thread and report any and all bad ads he's able to track down. Please continue to report, and thank you for as much info as you can provide.

@Dryden is there a way we could effectively enable people to really provide the detail needed when they actually find a bad ad? When Will contacts USA Today or Lijit (our only providers now, he's cut down everyone else because of bad ad issues) he needs to give them the whole chain. From the USAT or Lijit load all the way to the bad ad (and sometimes that's a long chain). When Will is completely out of commission he still tries to do it, but sometimes just plain can't. The more we can have that information ready to go, the easier it is for others of us to report bad ads as well, getting them out of the system even faster.
