Received a copy of Earth for Christmas and have been slowly going over it -- not a book to sit and read page-by-page -- and found this interesting equation on a page with a bunch of other funny stuff:

IQ / bench press X guitar playing skill = Y (years of virginity)

Having never played the guitar I was wondering if anyone at BP had tested the theory.

So if you have an IQ of 100, and can press 100 pounds, you should be a virgin until age 1 except based on guitar playing?

Hmmm. I guess I was a late bloomer.

I think something needs to be clarified: is it

IQ / (bench press x guitar skills) or (IQ / bench press) x guitar skills?

I hope it's the first one, because the second one says someone with no guitar skills (such as a new-born baby) was born without his virginity. Aside from Chuck Norris, I'm going to guess that this is pretty much impossible.

Of course, the first one suggests that one would never lose his virginity without picking up a guitar, first.
