Annual Spring Game - 2009

I believe the tickets for the Spring Game have been $6 each the past couple of years. That includes the lacrosse game that takes place first.

Folks tailgate before the game, and there will be thousands of folks tailgating, as long as the weather isn't terrible (like it was in '05).

The stadium will probably end up mostly full, but they probaby will once again close off the South End Zone. You'll need to decide whether you want to give up the last couple hours of tailgating in order to get a really good seat instead of just an OK seat.

How early do people start filing in there? This will be my first Spring Game.

I believe last year we had like 30-40,000 for the Lax game. Could be wrong about that though. So obviously it's just like any fall Saturday....well almost

Not to be left out..

THE OSU spring game will draw more people (75K+, at $6 per) than most spring games will draw for free.

Which pales in comparison to the list of schools that can't get/fit 75K+ into their stadium period, even for a sold-out rivalry homecoming game.

Can you say Big Time.

It was $5 dollars for tickets the last two years (is it $6 this year?), but you are correct that they've charged for admission the past couple of years, and that the cost of the ticket covers admission to the lacrosse game.

You have to buy tickets but there generally only like 5 bucks

You can buy them on hangonsloopy.com in the tickets section, at the ticket office at the schottenstein center or at the front gate (north endzone) prior to the game (dunno how long the wait in line would be). The tickets haven't gone on sale yet thogh
