Anti-Sportscenter Shirt

I have talked to a few of my friends via PM and we've talked about that idea RCollett posted...

Front

If you heard it on Sportscenter,
it's probably WRONG!

Back

We love Herbie

Problem is we need a more clever line to put on the back... it needs to point out that while many ESPN staff members are tools, that doesn't affect our feelings towards Herbie. Ideas that have been suggested:
- Herbie for President
- front: it's probably WRONG*
back: * - Herbie is on gameday

What? No love for Spielman? (He's back on ESPN this year, you know)

There is irony to producing anti-SportsCenter/pro-OSU merchandise when the producer of SportsCenter and the VP of ESPN, Vince Doria, is an OSU alum. :roll2:

What an incredibly stupid reply. Like a couple of T-shirts are going to provide additional "publicity" to the world's largest sports network. :roll1:

Ok, keep believing that producing a couple of gay t shirts is going to make any difference other than having a bunch of you look stupid. :slappy:

If the idea is to get your opinion across on Game Day I am afraid all you are going to generate are more close ups of Lee and Kirk. ESPN is not goint to broadcast images of T-shirts and signs decrying their network.

If we have 'Sportscenter' instead of 'ESPN' we won't need any disclaimer to show we still like Herbie. He's not on sportscenter.

I say front: If you heard it on sportSCenter
back: It's probably WRONG!

Then do a cheesey version of their SC logo with the circle around it in the word sportSCenter....just enough so you're mocking them, not enough for any law suit.

The shirt just sounded like a good funny idea to me. This is not some big idea to get us on gameday and try to screw up there broadcast. Just like Mili said, this is the biggest sports broadcasting network in the world. We are not going to kill them with our t-shirts.

The idea is just very humorous. It's the truth and that is whats funny. I am willing to bet we will have people asking us all day where we got the shirts. This is another way to get BP even more well known and to possibly make money for the site!

The whole Herbie thing is just to throw some love and respect his way. I think the Herbie is on gameday on the back is a great idea.

Thanks for getting this out there guys!
