anybody on campus after the game?

BuckeyeTrail

Michael Jenkins...does it again!!!
i was watching The Game at my friend's place on lane and tuller.....after it was over we went out onto his deck, and you could hear the entire campus just going crazy. it was probably one of the most surreal experiences i've ever had. it felt like we were in a stadium, which is shocking because we were outside. the acoustics of it all, the way the sound was travelling......i really wish i could be describing this better. it kind of felt like we were at a movie scene for gladiator or something like that. to be standing outside, and to be able to hear so much noise without seeing where that noise was coming from.....it was like the souls of OSU fans everywhere where shouting out in jubilation, and that euphoria was spreading accross campus in the form of audio waves. hopefully there are some other people on here that experienced what i experienced and can paint a better picture of it than i can.

it was just so overwhelming, it's hard for me to describe it.

What a great fucking game.

bobby carpenter said it best. how did that quote go exactly again? when jack arute asked him if he gave any advice to laurinatius, he said something like "the hitting is harder than anything you've ever experienced". god that gave me goosebumps.

College Football is the greatest sport in this country. how can anybody watch the nfl.

It was absolutely insane. When Gonzo made that ridiculous catch, everyone around the block was screaming, we had our windows and doors shut and we could still hear the screaming. When Pittman drove for the TD everyone piled out of their doors and into the streets for tentative cheer, then quickly went back in to watch the final seconds tick off the clock. Then all hell broke loose:

That would be right in front of my house. All of Norwich went crazy as around 400 or so of us piled out into the streets while someone had Buckeye Battle Cry blaring out his window. Un-fucking-believeable.

Of course, the cops were there in a minute and things quieted down. Besides the couches, nothing was damaged and nobody was hurt, cops didn't arrest anyone. A lone firetruck came and put out the fire. It was surreal, all around campus afterwards you heard people blaring out "We Don't Give a Damn for the Whole State of Michigan" as well as Carmen Ohio and Buckeye Battle Cry. People honking and giving "O-H's" on the streets. It just made the win one of the greatest I've witnessed since the NC game.

In Morrill tower... after each score we ran around our floor screaming, high fives, ect...

When we won we did victory laps around every floor above 8 screaming the usual at everyone we saw "FUCK MICHIGAN!" chants, "OH! - IO!" "What do we Bleed?!!! : Scarlet and Gray!!!" Best victory run of my life.

tired as hell, i sat down and watched Tressel give his speach... then i passed out  i couldn't sleep the night before the game.

After the game, me and a couple buddies started a friendly game of leap frog down Chittenden. Before we knew it there were atleast 50 people doing it with us. We then blocked off Chittenden and were singing the fight song and "We dont give a damn for the whole state of m*c&igan". Cars that did pass by were held up as high fives were being given. Cops even had there hands out their windows. Some people then blocked a tow truck and started rocking it. The riot police and paddy wagon promptly came about five minutes after this. It was an unreal experience, plus no one got arrested or hurt.
