Anyone interested in making a short highlight dvd for me? Of course, I'm willing to compensate your time and would pay all shipping fees. I'm not cut out for that work and we are struggling to get a kids' highlights out...

I'm going to post a duplicate thread in Open Disc for the exposure...

Although LoKy beat me to it, if you still need it, I'd love to help too.

I've been meaning to post the highlight reel that I did from last season (I know, really behind...)

But if anyone needs anything editing wise (video or audio), just let me know!

Some of you might not be familiar with TrojArk...but this kind of work is actually his profession. He does killer stuff.

Not to mention plays a mean guitar and cheats in fantasy football  .

grad, I'd suggest letting both LoKy and TrojArk make a highlight clip for you and use the one you feel is the best. I know LoKy does good stuff, and if TrojArk is as good as OilerBuck says, between the two of them you can't go wrong.

What audio programs do you use to mix and edit?

I took some classes in college in recording and mixing using ProTools. It's an awesome program, I have the LE version on my computers with the 2 imput MBox.

There's some cool audio programs out there.

I love Pro Tools but I don't get a chance to use it as much as I would like to. I use Cool Edit Pro/Adobe Audition on a daily basis. I don't need the power of Pro Tools so Cool Edit gets it done.

I use Vegas Video a lot. I saw you mentioned Avid on another thread... I've used Avid a little but I have more experience on Final Cut Pro. I like Avid a little better... I'll have a chance to edit on Avid early next year. I was just hired to edit a "B" Horror movie (I read the script and it's gonna be really bad ). The director said he may switch to Vegas to keep all his software "Sony"... of course it all depends on his financing.... which he's been try to get for two years

That's sweet! I'd love to edit a horror movie, whether it's a "B" movie or not...

I've been trying to get some local attention to get some work editing. Little hard to do though with little $$$....

I haven't had the chance to use Cool Edit. I've used Sonar before. To me...they all are alike, just some are able to do more/less. ProTools is definitely more than I need, but I just like to have the options in case I get inspired :biggrin2:

A friend introduced me to Avid, I had actually never heard of it before that. That was a couple years ago. I've used Final Cut Pro sparingly, but enough to realize that it's an amazing program. I know die hard FCP users and Avid users would go on forever deliberating which program is superior. I just use Avid cause I own a PC. If I had a Mac...I would probably choose FCP.

Good luck with the movie editing. That's just really cool to hear.
