Well, well, well.

Lookie at what he have he-eah. A real quarterback controversy.

J.T. Barrett comes in to relieve an ineffective Cardale Jones and he sparks the offense, giving it the pace and flow it had much of last season as OSU thrashed Penn State.

Coach Urban Meyer said he would take a look at it and make a decision on Monday.

In my humble opinion there is no question. Barrett needs to take the keys and drive, drive on down the field, the men of the scarlet and gray.

So OSU got the win and we got to see Barrett return to last season’s form. What else did we see?

Scott
A comfy win: Finally.
Return of the offense: Other than the deep threat, it looked like it should.
Stingy defense: Just 10 points. I’ll take it.
Loud and proud: Yup. It was delightfully loud.

Ken
A win: No problem.
No injuries: Joshual Perry was dinged up. Not sure of the extent.
A coherent offense: Once Barrett got in there, it looked quite familiar.
Efficient red zone offense: Thanks to Barrett.

Mali Buckeye
Sacked Hack: He was on his back so much I thought he was going to have to change his last name to Kardashian. I’ve probably used that one before but it’s funny.
Stun the run: Few good gains here and there. But overall OSU wasn’t hurt a ton.
Protection: The OL wasn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it wasn’t abysmal either.
Fulfill your destiny: And throw a pick six. Nope.
Say it proud: It was loud but I saw too much scarlet. I guess those fans didn’t get the memo.

Mike
Complete game on both sides of the ball: I won’t go as far as calling it a complete game but it’s the first time the offense and defense seemed to be clicking at the same time. The offense had some rhythm and the defense didn’t lose contain on the QB or get burnt by too many big plays.
Stop fiddle farting around and get Ezekiel Elliott going early and often: Wouldn’t say he got going early, but when it counted, Elliott was THE man.
A blocked punt and a special teams touchdown: Snicker.

Joe
LB U: Thought the entire defensive front played well.
Make big plays happen: Nothing to mention, really.
Turnovers, third down and red zone: Let’s see … no turnovers, 5 of 11 on third and 6 of 6 in the red zone, with 5 touchdowns. That’s good, right?
Welcome Gareon Conley to the pick six family: The party has been delayed.
Braxton Miller red zone QB: Not there, but he did line up under center twice in PSU territory.
