Atlanta Falcons (Official Thread)

Can't wait for tomorrow's game against the Bears.

Go Dane and Go Falcons!

Also, remember the brave people that lost their lives 10 years ago on that fateful day.

Keep in mind, Babin & Cole are a pretty damn good pair of pass rushers. Plus you have to contend with two pro-bowl corners.

The gameplan was pretty good. Open up running the ball, work off play action. Thats how you're going to have to beat Philly. Obvious passing, especially 3rd down and Nnamdi, Samuel & DRC are going to attack the ball.

Listening to sports talk radio today, many were selling the Falcons as a playoff team due to the soft zone in which they play. Consistent them was, they'll score points, but likely give them up too unless Edwards or Abe can force a bunch of sacks.

Things get a bit easier for us now with Tampa and Seattle coming up.

If Matt had more time I have no doubt he could throw it deeper and get it on target. He just needs the timing back there in the pocket. When they used the no huddle late in the game to get the two touchdowns the line was providing time. Personally, I think we should use the no huddle a lot more than we have been using it the first two games. When Matt calls the plays, it is reminiscent to Peyton. When the game is in Matt's hands, he almost always delivers. Also, I hope to God that Mularkey calls a screen every once in a while because Julio would be perfect for it.

Some "experts" had the Falcons in the Super Bowl this year but the only reason they aren't 0-3 is because Vick left the game last week. Ryan looks like a totally different player away from home.

Changes in the offensive line have clearly had a negative effect.
Just get through the first 5 games with 2-3 wins and things will be significantly easier.

10 wins still a very realistic goal.

from here on out atlanta has green bay, the saints twice, detroit, tampa and houston. 10 wins is more optimistic than realistic.
