Auburn Football (Paying Players Before NIL + Scientology)

Seriously, fuck Auburn. This is a university where the football boosters literally control the board of trustees, and the President answers to the football program. It's a fucking joke to higher education. If the SEC is the ass of higher education, Auburn is the cancerous tumor on that ass.

I can't be the only one waiting for ORD to elaborate further on the S-E-C and their ass-e-ness. Please go on....create a masterpiece that will forever be know as the SEC Chart of ASS.

At Auburn, Athletics and Academics Collide

In 2013, Auburn University’s curriculum review committee took up the case of a small, unpopular undergraduate major called public administration. After concluding that the major added very little to the school’s academic mission, the committee voted to eliminate it.

But according to internal documents and emails reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, the committee’s decision was ultimately overruled by top administrators after it met significant opposition from another powerful force on campus: Auburn’s athletic department...

Michael Stern, the chairman of Auburn’s economics department and a former member of the faculty senate, said athletics is so powerful at Auburn that it operates like a “second university.” Whenever athletic interests intersect with an academic matter, he said, “it’s a different kind of process.”

Sickening. Actually, Public Administration is a very relevant and, at a proper university, challenging major. At Ohio State, we call it The John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Look into the Glenn College's Washington Internship Program to get an idea of the quality of the students enrolled there. It's completely sickening that Auburn would institutionally corrupt the major into a hideout for foosball players. THE FOOSBALL IS THE DEVIL!

Cancerous tumor implies it could be surgically removed.

Auburn is actually like a bloody hemorrhoid, some flare-ups are worse than others, but regardless it's always there causing discomfort, and they use a lot more toilet paper than everybody else.

The Auburn-Jacksonville St. game in not being shown here, but JSU coach John Grass seriously took a knee on his 35-yard-line after tied the game rather than trying to win the game in regulation. JFC, that seems cowardly for an FCS to play for overtime. Grass is getting justifiably ripped on Twitter and various message boards.

QB needs a ripping too.

on the kneel down, everybody just stood there for several seconds after the snap (including the defense).
he could have bolted around the corner and gained a huge chunk of yardage (possibly gone to the house).
