Aundrey Walker (Southern Cal Signee)

Lotsa posts about USC being smug. Turns out the shoe was on the other foot. Oh well. Signing day drama, no biggie.

Drey would have been a really nice get for us, but as others have said, if he chooses Kiffy over JT, then he's not really our kinda guy. Doesn't mean he won't be a star, but if you get in bed with Kiffy, then you're the enemy. Having said that, I'd have a hard time saying no to SoCal weather...especially after the past couple of days.

Most will differ from my opinion, but while the GVille pipeline is still just that, I won't EVER consider another one a lock. Fool my once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

You have 103 vCash to my billion, and you're calling me out? Tell you what, when he commits to OSU tomorrow, I'll cite the source of my extreme confidence and I can ban you for six months...how's that? If he should commit to USC instead, you can have a 100 million vCash of mine (an admin can make that happen). Deal? You have to agree for this to happen.

Put your site access where your mouth is.
too late to take this bet?

last Ohio kid to go to USC was Fred Davis... and we all know how that turned out. Actually, no we don't. I have a strong feeling that 'Drey is going to regret going to USC, especially considering how ruthless they usually are in terms of their players. You're either a superstar immediately or you get no chance (just look at Mitch Mustain).

Tressel will always give you the opportunity to play and prove yourself, and he is fair and thoughtful. Kiffin - well, we all know what Kiffin's like.

Good luck Aundrey, and have fun in SC, but when we win a championship in the next few years and eventually beat Miami to be the program thats produced the most nfl players since 2000, you won't have been part of it. Sad

Now, lets move on to next year baby! I think the Sugar Bowl win really got us more national exposure, because I've never seen such a diverse array of kids from around the country have interest in us. Looks to be a good year.

It takes hard work, commitment and focus to become a successful college football player... much less to make it to the NFL.

On the sunny Pacific beaches with the beautiful SoCal ladies, thousands of miles away from his mentor, friends and family support (mom pending), under the utterly professional and classy tutelage of Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron, I wish Aundrey Walker the best of luck.

Have a good vacation... err, college experience.

I'm glad to see big Dre found a home in SC but if I'm a coach at OSU, I would not let the Glenville bunch hold out to signing day ever again. We hold scholarships for them "knowing" they will commit to us. We do not recruit others for these positions and at the last second, we get burnt. I hope our coaches don't allow these special considerations anymore. Glenville kids should be treated like all others. Only if they are a "super stud" should we hold a ship for them.

Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes here. "He'll regret this decision down the road," "If he would commit to Kiffin and USC he isn't a kid we want here anyway," "Have a good vacation...", you all sound like a Michigan board. Drey made the decision that he thought was best for him. No one can ever fault or question that, because we have no idea what went into that decision for him. All we can do is wish him luck and be happy with the class we have.

Good luck and have fun in SoCal Drey.

Honestly, I'm extremely surprised that Ted Ginn Sr. let one of his kids go to USC with all the drama over there... Still, I wish Aundrey Walker the best at USC. I think he messed up, but I hope he made the right choice for him. Good Luck Aundrey
