2024 AZ DE Deshawn Warner (Kansas Verbal)

Per Matt Parker, Ohio State is expecting new offer Deshawn Warner to take an official for the Penn State game. His high school plays on Thursday that week.

This kid has exploded this season with 33 tackles, 10 sacks, 11 TFLs, 5 forced fumbles and 2 INTs so far this season.

OSU is suddenly recruiting tall and skinnier DE's. It's how the NFL is defending, so glad we are progressing.
Overall I would say that is true in terms of offers, but Houston is is not in that mold at 6'3/6'4 275 lbs (but who cares there because he is a monster). Warner is intriguing and having a great senior year, so it'll be interesting to see where this one goes.

I agree, which makes me think they are now heading in a different direction .

DESHAWN WARNER​

Of the three defensive linemen on this list, Warner is the only one who profiles as a true defensive end. The Kansas commit has seen his recruiting stock rise over the last few months, as he’s jumped from a three- to a four-star prospect. Warner is expected to visit OSU for the Michigan State game next week, and how that visit goes could play a big factor in whether the Buckeyes can flip him or not.
