What happen to my thread about Baseball Chatter

I posted a thread Friday about chatter in baseball games. That I recently went to a High school baseball game and noticed that teams were chattering when their team was at bat. Wanted to know if this part of baseball or does it sound kinda Gay. The Thread some how dissappearad from the board.

Are you sure you posted on this board? Was it a thread, not a post? I seriously doubt a thread like that would get deleted. Did you check to see if it got merged into another thread?

A number of threads have been deleted...I received a PM from Deety asking why my post count suddenly dropped 20 posts. Unless there is a bug, it has to be from deleting threads which is something we try not to do around here.

not that i care about post count or anything, but since you brought it up...i lost about 100 over the weekend. I have the PMs to prove it :biggrin:

I didn't even notice until people started talking about it, but I lost some off my post total too. I remember that I was a little ahead of Al Gore on Thursday. I go away for one day and shit starts to fall apart around here. :p

Posts Disappearing

Everyone is wondering why various posts are disappearing...well it is simple, Donny has decided to delete every thread he has ever started. I started reinstating the threads because we have always kept a running archive on BP. However, that is plenty of work. I put Donny on a Timeout so he can cool down some. While I do agree with his assertion that the threads were started by him and he does have some control, I cannot allow him to destroy the discussions that lie therein...at least until I discuss this issue with the Mods/Admins and even all of you. Donny is not banned permanently and I would hope he can return after cooling down.

Guys, this is starting to get out of hand...please use the ignore feature if Donny bothers you. However, we all need to take a step back in our dealings with him. He has the same rights as everyone else.
