tressel wouldnt hang half a hundred on our sister of the wheelchair riding blind...hes just not that kind of guy.

Hey I'm not saying they don't deserve a BCS bowl game - in fact I think they deserved it more than LSU.

I'm just saying that it's kinda retarded to say they were 2 crushing losses away from a perfect season... It's like, duh. All but 2 teams were x crushing losses away from a perfect season.

Except ND, of course, who was 2 crushing near wins away from a perfect season.

I dunno about that, all bets are off on Tressel in the bowl game. He becomes a wild man on the sidelines at times (never seen him as animated as in Tempe).

I'm actually kind of glad I'm not there to see this show... why is it the media always hypes whoever tOSU is playing? I can never figure that out. It does make the victory that much sweeter though... and it also makes it that much easier to take large sums of money off people who bet with the herd.

You caught me by surprise - I had no idea I was disagreeing with you, more tagging along on SATXBuck's thoughts about the GA defense - You raise good points that go to how Georgia got into the Bowl Game on the back their SEC CG win - rather than their full season effort.

Hey - but that's what you get for putting a marquee game on top a regular season schedule. Another potential roadblock.

I grew up near Cleveland where ND was always hyped beyond reason...back then so many name players went from ne Ohio to nd over the years it made you sick. I'm hope'n JT lays the wood to Weiss's wonders, but...

nd does have righteous grounds for an emotional showing...the last 2 times against the Bucks they lost in not-too-close games. Series is even 2/2 going back to the '30s. Quinn an Ohio kid, along with others on nd. Because of their SOS, many of us Bucks think, (and maybe correctly), that nd will fall over in AZ. Weiss has shown he can get maximum out of an otherwise rather ordinary overall team. Might be a closer game than many expect, well into the 4th.
