On the topic though, a motivational DVD should be taken for whats it worth, a motivational tactic. At this point in the game, if we lend much weight to something as simple as this, then the real motivation isn't necessarily inherent in the players. Let me explain:

Just about everyone on this team played in, or was an innocent bystander, in last years NCG, and that should serve well enough motivation by itself. Seems to me a team walking into that atmosphere the second year in a row, playing a team very much in the same region (not to mention an annual contest between the two), would simply be electric. I think that for the trip, the DVD in question is what the players were ALLOWED to watch.

You could try the search function which would allow you to avoid having to look through "all 1000 new posts since last night". In fact, I just did a post search for "DVD" and lo-and-behold the posts about the DVD magically appeared.
