Overtime, w/e
My only question is can he win the NC. I mean and even if he can, does he deserve to be there with coaches like Tressel? In my oppinion this year LSU underachieved. They should have killed Kentucky and they should have killed Arkansas, but instead the defense looked soft and they weren't able to win. Kentucky I honestly blame on coaching. The playcalling on that last drive was atrocious. I mean run the ball on 3rd and 2, just to set it up again on 4th and 2? I mean the pass game had been working in the game for LSU.
Arkansas, is well Arkansas and played their hearts out, so there, I can't blame Les.
But in my opinion, as good as Les may be, is he still a product of Saban's talent or is he his own man?
As well you have to say the UF gm, which was great playcalling but still.
Plus saying you can beat coaches is weak. I mean honestly, Im sure that LSU could beat some scrub team even with a great coach. I mean people killed Idaho but he had Dennis Erickson

I can honestly say I saw the Kentucky loss coming (I agree with the playcalling comment BTW). I just had a bad feeling about it, even in the preseason. Arky, well I wasn't expecting that. They give us everything they got every year, but I thought we'd take them.

As far as Saban's talent, most of these guys were nothing more than freshmen scrubs that never saw the field under Saban. Yeah some of them did get playing time, but not enough to brag about. So do you give the credit to Saban for bringing them in? Or does at least some of the credit go to the current staff for developing them?

I'm not ready to induct Les into the Hall of Fame or anything, I just think he deserves more credit than he gets. He's doing exactly what he was hired to do here. Run a clean program, compete for an SEC title every year, and keep us in the running for a MNC.

Are scared of all the media hype going to your teams head, because you can't watch or listen to any so called expert that thinks tOSU has a shot in this thing.

Hey as Les Miles said, they are Undefeated

. . . In regulation
But again he counts O.t losses as 1/2 a piece, making them with the same record as OSU right now.

Neway, Brandon Saine, look him up, he can run a 4.34, Holliday is the only guy faster then him on LSU.
but I credit you guys for developing em, but not for going out and getting them.

Speed, speed, speed, I personally think that speed can be contained by power up front and closing down the lanes, I like OSU's chances, I am pretty confidient that they will shut all those feaux's at ESPiN.

Hm, Heres a thought.

Recently LSU's head coach has reopened discussion about being head coach for Michigan. After OSU beats LSU and wins the championship. Im pretty sure that he will go out of hatred from the loss.

GO BUCKS! OH-IO

My take on the speed thing is that Ohio State is the only team in the Big Ten that has speed to match the SEC at every position. And in here lies the problem. The schemes that the Buckeyes have used all year to defeat Big Ten teams will kill them against a faster opponent.

Our defensive gameplan of playing soft zone and not giving away the big play against Florida gave them the underneath routes all day. With slower receivers or a poorer o-line, this scheme would have worked. I believe we had the players to play man-to-man but were scared of giving up the big play. From what I have seen this year, I'm not sure Heacock has learned his lesson.
