BCS Title Game: Auburn -3.5 vs Oregon (ov/un 74.5) Jan 10, 2011

Oregon got jobbed on that long run. If you ask me, ther runner was down. Knee or not, the defender brought him down. The runner stopped making forward progress when he went down, they should have put the ball there. It may or may not have changed the outcome, but that play leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Dirty end to the game, and a couple dirty players on Auburn starting with sCam $$$ and Fairley's helmet yanking in the pile.

That's not the rule and that isn't what the coaches teach the players anyway.

now we get a bunch of moron SEC homers celebrate like their team on the title

note to the fans of the 11 other SEC teams

your team did not do anything and have nothing to do with Auburn winning the national title

The Summer.....it just got longer.

Chizik went from being booed at the airport by his own fans and being called the worst hire in college football history, to winning an NC within his first year at Auburn. Pay-to-play scams and thug players aside, that's pretty impressive.

Well, by rule he was down as well.

The wrist on his ball-carrying hand was on the ground. Besides that, there was no reason for the Oregon player to ever let go of his ass. That whole play was just a microcosm of the whole ugly, poorly executed, Auburn-officiated game.
