Best Movie Shot in Ohio?

SparkyOSU

...????
Only rule: A significant scene or a majority of the movie had to be FILMED and USED in the movie.

Just in my hometown of Mansfield:
Harry and Walter Go to New York
Tango & Cash
Air Force One

My vote for best (maybe because it was filmed in Mansfield too):
Shawshank Redemption

I believe almost all of Christmas Story was shot in Cleveland. The house in that movie is still there and is a museum of sorts complete with leg lamp.

My vote goes for Shawshank Redemption great movie. My uncle was an extra in that movie. He's in the scene at the beginning when they are bringing in the new prisoners.

The house was in Cleveland. Someone actually bought it and has turned it into a museum dedicated to the movie.

I'm pretty sure some of the mall scenes were done at Tower City as well.

I vote for it too. My uncle was a driver for Morgan Freeman while they made that movie. He was a truck driver by profession but for some reason they had him do this for a little while. In fact he is actually in the movie but just barely. You see him drive a vehicle toward the camera in one scene.

Great movie.

Much of that movie was filmed there, they actually sold the house on Ebay in the last year or two and the guy who bought it is turning it into a Christmas Story museum and gift shop.

There was a horrible movie in the 80's about Professional Female Wrestling starring Peter Falk that I cannot recall the name of. Most of it was shot in Youngstown.

(edit) "All the Marbles" 1981 starring Peter Falk

I have a couple terrific movies that were filmed right here in Columbus stored in my crawlspace. They were filmed in the early 90's at my apartment and are untitled as of this time however are labeled "National Sales training 92" tape 1 and 2"

I agree that Shawshank is the best movie shot in Ohio (though not used)...[/quote]

I'm pretty sure none of those first three were actually filmed in Ohio, just set here.
This thread really needs to be what is the second best move filmed in Ohio since Shawshank is the hands down best. My dad was going to be in it, but he didn't want to shave the stash.
