My thoughts:
1) Don't want them. Too stuck up for the B11. If they were to ask us to LET them join our conference, then I'd probably say yes- decent academics, good sports (When they don't have the Cheeseburger, that is), etc. But I would say hell no to us ever asking them.

2) Well, look at Florida's only 2 National Championship wins. Both of them were only possible by winning their SEC Championship game. If teams can get TO the NCG by winning a CCG, then they should be able to be left out of one by losing it, too. It's only fair.

Also, we shouldn't be punished for not being greedy and setting up more games to make more $$$.

1) Notre Dame sucks, however, I would like to see them or another team join the Big 10 someday.

2) The conference championship game is "officially" for the conference championship in several conferences. If you aren't the "official" conference champion I don't think that you should be allowed to play for the BCS championship. Why would anyone want the 2nd best team in the conference to play for a national championship? There should be no free rides for a loss in the championship game. A loss should and will always hurt you in the polls especially so at the end of the regular season. That is the price the conference pays for having a championship game.

First of all let me say that we, ummm, hate ND. Saying that, lots of us think it would only be natural to have them join your conference. .

Who is this we and us you speak of.

As for all of your other questions.. No, We don't need a championship game

If you don't like the championship games tell your conference to get rid of it.

Big Ten expansion has been discussed quite a bit here at BP. I think this is the most recent thread.

Re: the conference championship game, no thanks. PAC-10 style round robin is the best format. Not some gimmick brought to you by Dr. Pepper or whatever.

Spurrier I really think you should read this thread before you post another word http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/buckeye-football/607051-trey-mcneil-official-bitch-bp.html
Fair warning indeed, but that is for extreme cases and needn't worry anyone who isn't here to flame.

What he said.

I'm going to merge this into the thread FCollins posted in a minute.

Great, but don't take the bait, please. We ask people to just ignore the nonsense rather than escalate it into something that requires moderating.

spurrier,

Fans of other teams have always been very welcome here. It is great to have ther diverse opinions from fans of other schools.

A few words of friendly advice:

1. You should realize that we have some members that may try to "test" you and/or deliberately post something that you may not agree with just to try and start something. Start out by having a thick skin and let it just "roll off your back". Don't take it personal and get into a "pissing contest".

2. Make intelligent well thought out posts. If you state an opinion back it up with facts.

3. Probably most important; be respectful of Ohio State. Slamming the Buckeyes will probably just end up getting you kicked off the board.
