The B1G should add Stanford to get them into the Big Ten Academic Alliance.

Meh. Do we really want to throw a school a lifeline and then have to listen to their band constantly insult every school in the conference? Let them wither and die. And Stanford's fart smelling arrogance makes tsun seem like Kent State in comparison.

Who gives a shit about what their band does or their "arrogance", especially if they are not on OSU's level, wrt football?

I get the sense that if USC or UCLA wanted Stanford (or any other teams from the Pac) involved in this move, they'd be coming along with them now.

I think Cal is more likely than Stanford if the UC Regents get involved. I'm guessing that the B1G's strategy is to take USCLA first and sink the ship. After that, they can take anybody else that they want on the B1G's terms.

Just throwing this out there. If the PAC dissolves, and the B12 suddenly has Zona, ASU, Colorado and Utah drop into its lap do they dump Houston, UCF and the juggalos?

My gut reaction given the conference pecking order is that it would be more likely the PAC-12 would take a few teams from the Big-12, although I don't know which ones they could stomach. Baylor and TCU maybe? Maybe BYU if not for the religious thing. Nobody really stands out.
