And it’s not just about academic standards.

The most unique distinction between B1G schools and the rest of FBS is the quality of the Engineering departments in the B1G. The B1G dominates engineering the way they dominate women’s volleyball… maybe even more so

FSU’s engineering department is uniquely bad. In an odd arrangement borne of politics, the engineering department is actually shared with a local lower-division school. While some think that this shared-arrangement is a limiting factor and others contend that the politics behind that arrangement are the real problem; the sad result regardless of cause is that the engineering college at FSU is a laughing stock
Yeah the shared FAMU-FSU engineering college is weird.

Power Rank Engineering/Technical Schools.

Purdue vs. Tech - who ya got?
The US News & World Report rankings have long been well respected by many, and they can’t really find much difference between the two, with Purdue at #4 and GT tied with Carnegie Mellon at #5

What says the most about the B1G to me, is that Ohio State and Wisconsin, while tied at a very respectable #27, represent the exact middle of the B1G, with half of the remaining conference members ranking higher than that

EDIT:

Feel free to remind the pretentious pedophile enabling pus-bags that they are in the bottom half, next time you meet one of them

They are ranked well ahead of the FSU-FAMU school of engineering though, which is #92. That’s better than Nebraska though, so they’ve got that going for them

They’re joining Oberlin’s conference.
Isn't Oberlin where Lena Dunham went?
