Big Ten Power Rankings

I realize that they have the strentgh to go that far and even farther. I just don't know if they will be good enough to do it. MS beat Ind today something like 107 - 77 what does that say about the Hoosiers?

It was just one of those games...Senior day and no one in the country could of beat MSU the way they played, and no one probably with in 15 points...77 pts is a game outing for IU, but not on this day...

I'm thinking that real great teams don't lose like Indiana did. I would have to stick with Purdue to do the best.
When Indiana got down yesterday at MSU, they almost played like they did not give a damn about how bad they got beat. I don't know if they are down because they lost their homeboy Sampson or if it was because of the beating they were taking.

I am not so sure about how Purdue will go into the tournament. They play a very aggressive man-to-man defense and it is going to depend on how the officials call the game. I still am not sold on Purdue and think that the Buckeyes have a chance to beat them tomorrow.

I think I will wait until after the Big 10 tournament to make a prediction on which Big 10 team will make it the furthest in the Dance.

Only received 6 this week...

Didn't compute the numbers but basically...

The top spot was a tie between Purdue and Wisky...

The 3 and 4 spots were a tie between MSU and IU...

The 5 went to Minny...

The 6 spot went to tOSU...

Then the next 4 Michigan, Iowa, PSU, Illinois

Then the last spot still without a win Northwestern...

Thanks for everyone that took part in this...I still owe about 3 weeks of rep and will get that to you guys...

Won't do one next week as it will basically be the final rankings in the big ten...

Sorry I didn't get my rankings to you but I thought the thread might be closed I think of the bottom five teams I would put PSU above Michigan and Iowa. Also, I would have Wisconsin and Michigan State as my top two. I think when it is all said and done that they will play for the Big 10 championship. Just my two cents.

Let's get our rankings in this week. There should be a few changes this week so everyone get busy and send them in to 40 and me please.
if you don;t then 40 and I have to kill you. :tongue2:

If you want to post them up they are going to need to send them to you...I don't have the spreadsheet on the computer I am on, as that is still why I haven't distributed the rep, and also I have to study for finals...

I have sent these in but just thought I would post them so everyone could take a crack at me.

Wisconsin (give it to them over Purdue because the Purdue's loss to us)
Purdue (see Wisconsin)
Indiana (this team might be a mess but based on the record they have to stay at #3 but to lose at PSU... not a good sign)
Michigan State (another team hard to figure out but based solely on the record they are at #4)
Ohio State (on a neutral court they will beat any team ranked lower)
Minnesota (by default)
PSU (have to give props to the Nittany Lions for all they have gone through)
Illinois (getting better as the season winds down)
Iowa (they are just bad... I have no idea how they beat us)
Michigan (see Iowa)
Northwestern (last season for Carmody... good academics but that's it)

I know this weeks ranking will be kind of moot but it might be interesting to see the opinions after Illinois not only gets into the finals but what if they beat Wiscy (cough** fat chance** cough).
please send in your rankings by about 7 pm tonight please. And thank you all for playing.
