Big upgrades -- please let me know (here) if stuff's broken.

Whenever I use the search function in the nav bar to search all GPA's, it tells me I need to wait 17 seconds before searching again. I wait thirty, and it still gives me the same message.

Yeah, it's a function that the mods built in, it does a check to see if we're drunk and if so it doesn't let us search for GPA's because they know we'll post to GPA's from 4 years ago as if the conversation was going on today.

Any Barksdale updates?

Seriously though, I think it's you, because I can search awarded posts fine.

The 'too small to search' words seem to have added a ton of words, including TSUN. That makes pulling up the TSUN thread (search by title) rather difficult.

Edit: Nope, can't search for 'recruiting' either (thought that might bring it up).

Did the 'too common' list get manually expanded quite a bit, or was that a server side thing?

Edit 2: I guess searching "TSUN NEWS" brings it up, but still, that's a bit arduous.

No, that's a "Deety goofed" thing. Should work now.

We're going to update the navbars this evening. The changes should all go live within a few seconds of each other, though for those seconds there will be items missing. When the top navbar shows links to both "Home" and "Forums," we're updated.

If for any reason things start to catch fire and sirens go off, hang in there and order will be restored shortly. :)

Clarity - checking 2nd navbar - it should be there now, but isn't.

Looks like we do have some defaults popping up after the revert. In the navbar, Top Lists and Torrents aren't in the template. Torrent stuff in the Welcome box is new. But Your Notifications is working. :)

All set with the navbar for tonight. If anyone sees an error or a page that looks odd, give a shout. :)

A few new features, most native to the forum software -

The login area now shows Your Notifications with more info than the Private Messages section we had before.

The search function has been revamped with new features (and may be reordered later).

There are a new Networking links in Quick Links.

The FAQ link now goes to the FAQ forum if you are logged in, so hopefully we will make better use of that area - 3yardsandacloud completely rocked that project, so we need to make sure people see it! No change for logged out users as yet.

Looks like there are a few problems on bpWiki. The links on the getting started section are not visible unless you drag the cursor over them. There may be some other problems in the actual pages, but I'm not exactly sure what they looked like before.

I can't reproduce that myself, what style (BP_DayGame, etc.) are you using?
