Great choices by all, here's another honorable mention candidate: can you imagine losing to Sparty at home in '05? After experiencing tough losses to Texas and PSU, a defeat like that would destroy a season. But, with the Bucks down by 10, a FG block and Youboty's subsequent return for a TD, puts the Bucks in position to come back and win that game, and essentially turn the season. Victories over UM and Notre Dame are what stand out in 2005, but I still will argue that the above play saved the year. Some other plays that might stand out: Smith to Ginn at MSU in '04 with the Bucks down late in the 4th quarter, and Pittman's run against UM this past year. The great thing about this thread is that each play listed by everyone has its' special place in Buckeye history.

The first bomb to Ginn in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl.
The 85-yard bomb to Santonio in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl.
Pittman's run to seal the 2006 Fiesta Bowl.

The bomb to Ginn in the 2006 TSUN game.

You can actually choose ten ? WOW! The 2003 NC game had more than ten alone.

Holy Buckeye is #1-nothing else is close.

Although I agree that it was the most dramatic play I've ever seen in my life, the NC game had plays with way more meaning. The play that won the game was the play that made the Buckeyes national champs for the first time in my life. That's something I'll never forget.

Yeah, good point. I remember watching the fourth quarter of that game and thinking this was just like the Rocky 1 movie. Big underdog going head-to-head with reigning champ, and NO REAL LIFE game has this amount of hitting and drama. It seemed unreal.

Fortunately, Rocky won this version.
