Bill O’Brien (HC Boston College, aka BillyBob O’Buttchin et al)

It's interesting to watch the reaction of the mutants on BWI.....

once you get past the bitching about BTN2GO, they are mostly on his side....

But then he stands behind Joyner (heh heh stands behind)

And 9fold says whatever he is saying about interviewing doesn't add up"

How was flirting with the NFL about his players or the coaching staff? I don't get it.

What's there to complain about? He was voted Big Ten COY and AP COY. Is he whining because he hasn't yet gotten an award this week from the media?

They are hammering him on two fronts. The NFL shopping and large "gifts" from alums. He admits NFL shopping, but denies the "gifts."

In reading what he said in his presser, the verdict is still out on Brutus O'Buttchin....

He dismissed rumors he returned to Penn State on the condition of a raise -- some outlets reported an alum pledged an additional $1.3 million bump
to his salary -- but he also wouldn't rule out speaking with NFL teams
next season either.

"I mean, that's next year," O'Brien said. "I'm telling you right now I'm committed to this 2013 team, and I'm looking forward to coaching them."

Maybe that his way of saying when we have a crappy season, then I'm hitting the eject button....
