Voted. After some thought, sacrificing the now for the benefit of the future is what a keeper league is about. By taking away a teams fair option to continue to improve seems to go against the spirit of a keeper league.

in the NFL, if you land a great player in the second round, losing your next second round pick a year later as punishment for drafting well a year prior defeats the purpose.

I vote for B

Choices are:

A. Lose a pick for each kept player, starting at round 1 and losing the pick in each successive round for each player kept. (Keep 6 players, lose your pick in rounds 1-6)
B. Lose a pick for each kept player, starting at round 18 and losing the pick in each prior round for each player kept. Keep 6 players, lose your pick in rounds 13-18)
C. Lose a pick for each kept player in the round corresponding to the round in which the kept player was drafted.

NOTE - For choice C, we'd still have to figure out how to handle kept players that were added mid-season.

My vote is for option C.

C being too complicated for my simple often drunken mind, I would vote for losing picks in rounds 3, 5, 7 and 9 (or similar). I don't like losing picks just at the end or the beginning.

That said, I definitely am against A, and against losing early picks, as it defeats some of the purpose of the keeper league. So I guess I go for B, given the options available. . .

Well that makes it 2-6-2 with only two votes left so its pretty much wrapped up unless my vote is worth 3 because i rock so hard.

Yep, Option B now wins.

Of course this issue can be reopened next year while we are drafting as we see how it works out.
