Braxton Miller makes it clear exactly how he feels about Ohio State, and Ohio State fans

Braxton Miller wrapped up a hell of an Ohio State career with the Bucks' victory over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, and now turns his attention to the NFL Draft. But before he does, Miller went out of his way to let Ohio State fans know exactly how he feels about them, and the Buckeye football program, in a letter he penned for the Player's Tribune today. It's worth a read.

Miller takes direct aim at the rush of speculation that he would transfer from the program after J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones had such success while he sat out a season due to injury.

Of course, while I was hurt and J.T. and Cardale found success, everyone began speculating that I was going to transfer. But if you want to know the truth: that thought never really crossed my mind. In my mind, it all came down to one question.

Why would I ever leave Ohio State?

And Miller discusses his spin-move highlight against Virginia Tech, the highs and lows during his Columbus tenure, and some parting words to Buckeye fans who supported him the entire time.

My time in Columbus has meant the world to me, and has shaped me into the man I am today. I've felt such tremendous highs, and I've experienced such trying lows. But now that I've gone through it all, I feel ready for whatever awaits me on the other side. I don't fear adversity. I don't fear the spotlight. I don't fear success. And I don't fear failure. I'm stepping toward this new chapter of my life with a confidence that I wouldn't have had if it wasn't for the experience that Ohio State has given me. And for that I will be forever grateful.

This entire gesture was thoughtful, and certainly not necessary, especially given that Miller wasn't exactly the most loquacious Buckeye when it came to speaking to the press. He leaves behind a legacy as one of the most exciting Buckeyes in recent memory, and we look forward to cheering him on at the next level.
