Too bad. Musberger and Herbstreit were a great pairing IMO. Will certainly miss Brent's signature line "you're looking live..." as the broadcast begins. I hope Nessler gets his spot. He's been ESPN's #2 guy for a while and it would make sense that he's next in line.

I don't think he and Herby were a great pairing. Mush and Jesse Palmer, a former SEC QB? How will they keep Mush out of trouble? :lol: But it should be fun to follow what happens.

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s when the ESPiN Thursday night games meant something, Fowler/Herbie/Corso were a great announcing team. Then Corso got old, Fowler went to Gameday and Herpstreit went primetime and we ended up getting Beth Mowins and whatever that other Yeti's name is...

I'll give Pam credit for this, as bad as she is, at least she gets the team names right and most of the players right...Mowins butchered the OSU/Buffalo game so badly, I can't believe they ever let her talk about sports again in her own living room, let alone on TV.

Fowler went to gameday? Fowler, Herpderp and Corso were the Gameday crew before they did the thursday night broadcasts. But yes, I've got no problem with Fowler or his play by play announcing.

I'm sort of shocked that so many tOSU fans don't like Kirk, then again I've said for years how I liked him because he doesn't seem like a Buckeye homer. Which I thought he would be so maybe it's what you believe beforehand going into it?
