Thad Matta is reportedly considering bringing back the gray uniforms. Here is a picture of them from way back:


Now I did a little tinkering in photoshop, and think they could be pretty sweet if the gray was a metallic, vivd color like the football helmets.

I always loved the grey uniforms, I sure hope Matta brings them back. It's good to see Matta is trying to restore some tradition in the program. He has done nothing but positives since he got here.

I as well think those grey unis with the red stripe look bad ass. I never quite underd how we flaunted the white so much since we are the "silver bullets" in football and the ONLY school that uses the color scheme of scarlet and grey. We need to bring back the pride and have grey uni's, but a more updated style of grey. Nice work BFS!

I agree with all the positives Thad has brought into the program and this kind of throwback could bring a more prestigious look to our team. Thad seems to be putting a good recruiting class togother and if he thinks the grays would be good...I'm with him.

Outlined numbers

As requested, I outlined the letters in red, and the result is much nicer, IMO. Also, the jersey takes on another level if you can imagine those wrinkles in the shorts as being reflections on the shiny fabric. The gray needs to be lightened a little, but this image didn't lighten very easily so I ignored that aspect.
