Yes, you should be, speaking out of your ass without any facts does not help the discussion.

Thump, part of the reason I am incensed is b/c I keep hearing numerous things re: BTN and can't seem to get a bead on what I have to do to see the games. Part of the reason for my post, was to ascertain this...

If I have to go down to Lane and Olentangy River Rd every weekend to see a BTN game that's fine, but I am married w/ a child - it was much easier for me (and others as well) to see the games when they were on network or regular cable. It is not so easy to just pick up and go to a game whenever I want or head down to the VC...

My post was more for the married/parents who want to see the games and want to enjoy them w/ their families.

Soldiers are dying in Iraq and I'm supposed to feel sorry for your unimaginable plight?

Dude are you serious? You can't be serious...that is the most moronic thing I have ever heard.

Please don't misunderstand me...this isn't life or death. I am sorry if you feel I said as much (I didn't).

Now you are the one talking out of your ass. Enjoy your dish.

Option 1 - Go to any good sports bar and they will have BTN - Eat, drink and be merry in the company of fellow Buckeyes. Phone ahead, ask the manager!
Option 2 - Go to a friend's house who has DirecTV - Eat drink and be merry in the company of fellow Buckeyes.
Option 3 - Go to the stadium, get a ticket. Hiney Gate - Eat drink and be merry in the company of fellow Buckeyes.
OR
Option 4 - Ask what to do on an internet message board. (Bad Idea)

Duly noted...moving on.

I don't understand why people aren't allowed to be frustrated by this situation......there will be a few hundred thousand people in the Columbus w/o television access to the games

Not everyone can go to a sports bar, not everyone can just go down to the stadium and purchase tickets, and even for the people that can do that, some would rather sit on their couch and have access to 3 other games.....as for just reading the newspaper or listening on the radio, most would rather not, they'd rather just see the game with their own eyes.

The frustrating thing is a resolution could be made today but it won't so many fans will have to take the word of crappy journalists and second hand information rather than being able to see the game and make judgements for themselves and just being able to enjoy a saturday afternoon w/ the Bucks......yes I Know it's not the consumers right to see a game, but it's frustrating when the BTN Network is using OSU fans as hostages and Time Warner refuses to concede at all to make anything happen

Hopefully this post deserves a Waaaa!!!!! so I can see more grown men acting like 4 to 6 year olds
