Hey all, long time lurker first time poster....

There is an autograph signing in Zanesville, this Wednesday January 11th 6-8pm @ Colony Square Mall. They are charging for this signing, AJ, Bobby among others will be there. If anyone is interested. I do have a question for anyone who has been to one of these type of signings (Not free Signings) How bad is the turn out, does it run pretty smooth or will I be waiting in line forever? Our local paper had a write up on it, and it said people have been calling saying they are coming to get in line when the mall opens! All this to get my hubby his beloved AJ Hawk Autograph... :oh: :io:

I've gone to several OSU autograph signings sposored by malls in "my neck of the woods" (Westen OH), and I usually go anywhere from 2-3 hours early to get close to the front of the line.

I guess I don't mind hanging out talking OSU football for a few hours and being assured of getting a sig or two...I've known of people who waited for a couple of hours (after the NC especially) and gotten nothing because usually the players are on a tight schedule having more appearances scheduled that same day.

I've never been to the mall you're talking about, but I'll bet after a W at Michigan and another vs. Notre Dame, AJ and the rest will attract a healthy number of autograph seekers. I'd go at least an hour early if at all possible if I were you....good luck. :osu:

I figured 2 hours or so, and I too won't mind talking football that long either. But I figured since we have to pay per signature or you can buy a super pass, that will kinda leave the riff raff out... Hopefully....

Thanks so much for responding!:io:

hawiianbuckeye, or anyone else- have you ever dealt with that company, Ohio Signatures Unlimited? Are they reputable?

Yes, from my experience and all other accounts they are reputable.

Ohio Signatures Unlimited is the company that donated quite a few of the items for our Fall Raffle. The owner (or co-owner I guess) is a member here (littledawg) and was very gracious with his time and merchandise. I know he uses Scott Terna's (HAYN / hawiianbuckeye) photography for some of his merchandise. Everything I saw was top notch, ask any of the folks who won during the raffle. Check the BP Raffle thread to see some of the items theOSUstore and Scott Terna donated.

DB's look to be first in Columbus area at the Frame Shop

That would be Michigan '05! LOL! Yes any photo in my gallery on this site may be used in the upcoming sessions put on by Ohio Signatures Unlimited. Haven't got the final word but Whitner, Salley, Youboty and Everett will be doing a signing as early as "yikes" tomorrow? or most likely the 12th!

Nice story on the signing @ Zanesville.

I have a friend who's daughter has Mitochondrial Disease. It is very rare. She is 5 years old, looks like a normal 5 year old, but she isn't strong enough to stand, she has never said a word, gets tired easily.....so she has to have care 24/7 for every aspect of life, even sleeping. The bad thing is there is isn't much info and research on it b/c it is so rare. So for the past 3 years the family has held an auction and casino night to help raise money for the foundation. A friend of the family is friends with Steve Winner. He said he could get a football signed by the seniors at the senior banquet. After discussing this with JT and telling him about the little girl and her family, JT said they should do more for her. So, tomorrow before the signing starts, all the guys there to sign are going to meet Bailey and her family. They agreed to sign whatever they wanted so they could use it to raise money.

This class is truly a great class. Things like this are what makes OSU and JT so special.

Kevin at TheOSUStore is always looking for and more than happy to donate items to be signed for this kind of thing. You should contact him through his website. www.theosustore.com

Appearances and dates changing by the minute!

I keep posting here who's going to be where and when, but things keep changing. Basically, due to one individual who is trying to monopolize the whole autograph signing circuit and trying to limit what certain players sign. A terrible way to promote a player and risk his reputation with fans IMO. As a result of this past weekends show in the Cleveland area some players will not be participating in any other shows with that particular promoter. A good thing for both the players and fans. As for what I know in the Columbus area (this could change again) Monday at the Frame Shop it's supposed to be Youboty and Everett in person. Like I said things keep changing and players are in All Star games etc.

Yes, Kevin at the OSUSTORE uses my photos and you'll see more of them this year (thanks for the compliments on both my photos and theosustore)! The photos of mine you may have seen on this site will be available for purchase thru the store, at signings, or myself (PM me). This year EVERY photo of mine that is purchased (or the money I make off them) will go towards my pledge to help the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Renovation Project. I have pledged to Sponsor a Locker in the FB Locker Room and hope my photo sales can pay for the whole thing!
