If he signed the deal with Tri-Star for 2 mil, won't they now control all his signings and thus control the pricing as well?

I looked at some of their up coming events, and the prices will be in that area for sure, but at this point, I think his "handlers" are not going to be making the calls, it's Tri-Star and the 2 mil they paid that will be.

I'm just saying...If people were advising Troy that he's worth what Eddie (the last OSU Heisman) was getting for his sig (and that's what they were wanting from individual promoters), then they signed a deal with this company, that was just what my guess (for comparison sake) that you might be looking at as far as pricing goes when / if Troy comes around.

Additional Information

While I am a message board reader, I don't post a lot and never post about my business.

To give a brief explanation as to Quinn Pitcock. We originally were booking all players for Saturday 2/10. In working with another promoter, I was asked to switch the lineman I already had booked on Saturday to Sunday so they could do 2 shows Saturday and ours on Sunday. This gave those players the ability to book three shows instead of 1. Prior to making the announcement, we were offered several other players to add to the schedule. As a result of a miscommunication, Quinn was added to our schedule at that time.

We have confirmed every other appearence with the agents or players themselves to prevent double bookings and make sure the event runs smoothly.

Our confirmed bookings are as follows

Saturday 2/10 (4-6)
Mike D'Andrea
Roy Hall
Justin Zwick
Antonio Smith
Brandon Mitchell
Stan White Jr.
Saturday 2/10 (5-7)
Antonio Pittman
Sunday 2/11 (10-12)
David Patterson
Jay Richardson
Joel Penton

http://www.theosustore.com/c2007/Class.of.2007.MAIN.htm

We have rescheduled the three defensive lineman on Sunday to 10-12 from 11-1. It was not our intention to announce or list someone who would not be there. We are in negotiations to bring in additional players for this show and do hope that Pitcock will be one of them.

Out of respect to the players, their agents, and other promoters/businesses; we can't comment on things other than the show we have booked.

We are in the process of updating the website to reflect the updates and time change. I am having some issues with front page publishing correctly and am having the update done by our tech support using a different program I have not used. The website should be updated by the end of the day. We will make any additional player announcements on the website as soon as they become available.

Best Wishes to All & Go Bucks

That gig is going to have the option of buying individual players sigs at $10 - $20 depending on who you're talking about...or you can buy what they call their Super ticket which gets you one sig of each player (13 of them i think) for $100.

Doors open at 1 p.m. The Players will hopefully arrive on time at 6, then they are scheduled to be there at least 2 hours, but the promoter has another 2 hour option he can purchase if the line still looks long enough to merit doing so.

And as some other shows prohibit, no photographs..."it will slow the line down". :(

So is tis Tri Star going to do any signings in Ohio at all? Any idea when and where they may be?

I have lots of experience in this field...Tri-Star does shows in Cleveland, usually once or twice a year at the I-X center, or whatever it is called now. My guess is that Troy would be in the Earl Campbell range of 59/69/79, or perhaps more, say 79/89/99 depending on how they judge his popularity. Heisman inscriptions would be extra 10-15 probably. I doubt he will reach triple digits, though I imagine he would have if he had won the NC game. His exclusive contract probably means you won't see him at many smaller shows, if any at all.

Call Store For Details - 419-331-6255

I called and got some info, but the girl who answered wasn't quite sure on everything. A super-ticket which includes all 4 autographs with an 8x10 is $65. Ginn alone is in the $40-$45 range.

There is a store at Indian lake that got alot of stuff signed
by Troy in the past few years after practices and games and such....
He just started to release some of his items since Troy isn't doing any signings w/o the large prices Tri-star is going to demand. I paid 45 bucks
for an 8 x 10 photo signed. I thought it was worth buying since its probably going to cost 50 bucks just to get in line and wait several hours. He also has other players too available. I just thought I would share this information with you. Go Buckeyes beat Mich St. tonight!!
